Among the many activities that NDMCT is engaged in especially towards cancer care, we organized a free hair treatment camp on 1st Oct 2013 in association with RICHFEEL and BNH HCG cancer centre. The camp was specially designed to help patients who lost hair due to chemotherapy or radioactive therapy. The camp entailed free scalp check-up, free hair consultation and free hair products by Richfeel. Mickey Mehta too engaged the patients on positive thinking and fitness.
On the occasion of World Hepatitis Day 28th July 2013, the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust supported a Hepatitis B Awareness and Free Screening Camp at the Kalina Military Camp in Mumbai. Over 550 Army Personnel’s and their families were screened. A heartfelt gesture for all the good work the Army does to keep us safe
The inauguration and handing over ceremony of the Mobile Mammography Van by Sanjay Dutt (Trustee of the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust) to Dr Advani ( President – Helping Hand NGO) took place on 5th May 2013 at the Bandra Carter Road Promenade. Present on the occassion were also NDMCT Trustees Namrata Dutt-Kumar and Priya Dutt.
1 out of every 5 in India goes blind due to diabetes. Keeping this in mind and on the occasion of World Health Day, the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust in association with the Aditya Jyot Foundation for Twinkling Little Eyes conducted a free eye screening camp at Nehru Nagar Kurla (E) on 7th April, 2013. The camp touched the lives of approximately 200 people. Free cataract operations will be given to deserving patients.
Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer among women in India and that was the topic of discussion at ‘The Pink Meet – 2013’, a two-day breast cancer conference organised by Dr L H Hiranandani hospital and International Oncology Services Pvt Ltd. The agenda of the conference was to discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in breast cancer.
The Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust (India) ties up with Healing Little Hearts (UK) to help financially needy families with Pediatric Congenital Heart Problems in India. The main aim of the collaboration is to provide timely aid to babies & children with correctable heart defects, so that no lives are lost due to lack of funds and expertise

A Mega Medical Camp was organized by Smt. Priya Dutt under the aegis of Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust along with Lions Clubs International Dist 323 A3 and BMC on Sunday 11th December, 2011 at Bandra Municipal Urdu School, Awami High School. The Chief Guest of the function was Shri Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, ( Hon’ble Union Health Minister) & Shri Suresh Shetty, (Hon’ble Minister for Public Health and Family Welfare, Maharashtra State).
