NDMCT initiated a Mega Health Camp which are an on-going initiative at Sonave which has enabled us to document what kind of health interventions are needed. Approximately 350 Men, Woman and Children have benefited through our Mega Medical Camps which includes General Health Checkups, Eye Checkup and Free Cataract Surgeries, ECG, Woman and Child Health, Breast Cancer Screening and Free Medicines.

On the occasion of World Cancer Survivors Day, the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust in association with BNH HCG Cancer Center, showcased the movie ‘ Hawaa Hawaai’ to celebrate the spirit of our young cancer crusaders.
Approximately 200 cancer survivors and their families participated in the event, which was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
We received an overwhelming response for our Free Surgery and Medical Camp which was held on 23rd February 2014 at Thakkar Bappa Colony in Kurla (E). Approximately 1800 Men, Woman and Children benefited through the Mega Medical Camp which included General Health Checkups, Eye Checkup and Free Cataract Surgeries, Dental Checkups, TB Screening, ECG, Woman and Child Health, Breast Cancer Screening and Free Medicines.
It was a day of shared joy for us and the families of nearly 1500 differently-abled. At our disability camp on 16th February 2014,672 hearing aids, 749 Mobility Aids (Wheelchairs/Walking Sticks/Calipers/Braille Slates) and 8 Fabrication were distributed free of charge to assist our differently-abled into independent living. Approximately 400 individuals benefited through the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust Free Surgery and Medical Camp which was held on 9th February 2014 in Bandra (E). The camp included General Health checkups, Eye checkup and free cataract surgeries, Dental checkups, TB screening, Woman and Child care, Breast Cancer Screening and free medicines. Free surgeries for heart, kidney and cancer upto 1.5 lakhs were covered under the Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana.
Our Disability Camp in Dec 2013 touched the lives of over 700 individuals from different categories of disabilities. Seeing the positive difference that we were able to bring about in the lives of others, we were motivated to conduct yet another Disability Screening camp, in association with ALIMCO, A.Y.J.N.I.H.H. and Jagrut, on 28th January 2014 at Chandivali, Mumbai.
Organised a Free Surgery and Medical Camp in my Chandivali constituency on 19th January 2014. Free surgeries for Cancer, Heart and Kidney were offered under the Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana. The camp also included Free Cataract Operations, Free Medication, General Health Checkup, Pediatric Care, Eye Checkup, ECG, Breast Cancer Screening and Gynecology. The camp touched the lives of approximately 500 children, women and men.
NDMCT in association with ALIMCO and A.Y.J.N.I.H.H., had conducted a Disability Screening camp on 16th Nov 2013 where 711 financially-needy differently-abled were screened. Today at the follow –up camp on 21st Dec 2013, these 711 screened individuals were given free digital hearing aids, tricycles, braille slates, wheelchairs, fabricated AFO, fabricated KFO, Blind Walking sticks, Crutches and Artificial Limb Calipers, as per their requirement.
The lives of 745 individuals were touched through the Free Mega Medical Camp which was organized by the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust in association with Jagrut NGO on 14th Dec 2013 at Vile Parle (E). The camp included Free General Checkups, Free Cancer Screening for Women, Free Cataract Surgeries and Free Medication.
NDMCT received an overwhelming response for the Disability Screening Camp held in association with ALIMCO and A.Y.J.N.I.H.H., on 16th Nov 2013 at Chetana College Hall, Bandra (E) Mumbai. Over 1000 people attended the camp and 601 financially-needy differently-abled were screened. The 601 screened individuals will be given free hearing aids, wheelchairs and calipers (as per their requirement), which will aid them in independent living.
