NDMCT in association with HELPING HANDS ngo saluted the indomitable will, determination and grit of cancer survivors on 5th Dec 2015 in Mumbai.
Nargis Dutt Memorial Trophies were distributed to all cancer survivors who defeated cancer and emerged as 'champions' in their respective fields.
Their stories are of immense inspiration that drove home the point that you can lead a perfectly normal life fulfilling your dreams and aspirations even after cancer.

Through our ' Drops of Hope' campaign in association with the Federation of Bombay Blood Banks (FBBB) and Terumo Penpol, NDMCT is conducting platelet awareness drives across Mumbai.
Over 150 students from the Rizvi Institute of Management Studies & Research, Bandra were made aware of the importance of donating platelets on 4th September 2015. The camp was held by Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust in association with the Federation of Bombay Blood Banks ( FBBB) and Terumo Penpol. Dr. Nidhi Mehta (Head of Blood Bank- Kokilaben Ambani Hospital) gave a meaningful presentation on why we should all donate platelets and save lives. Dr.
Over 350 inhabitants of Sonave Tribal village were examined for common illnesses that come with the monsoon season. Free one month supply of Multivitamins and calcium tablets were distributed amongst all the women and children. The camp was held in 2 hamlets (padas) of the 12 hamlets that are there in Sonave Village- Korichapada ( 10am-12pm) and Borichapada ( 1.30pm-3.30pm). These two hamlets are the remotest of all the hamlets in Sonave Village.
Sometimes in life we refrain from helping others only because we don’t know what it exactly entails. Our intentions are good, but our knowledge is restricted. Great strides have thus been taken by NDMCT to spread awareness on the importance of donating platelets. Through our ‘ Save a Life’ campaign in association with Tata Memorial Hospital, approximately 1000 employees attended the drive at KBS Creations across two days.
The best part of any Medical Camp is the lives of the people we are able to touch. During our Mega Medical Camp at Sonave Tribal Village, Aanandi Dalvi and Dattatray Kini were among the 36 poor patients shortlisted for FREE CATARACT SURGERIES. These operations would not be possible without the support of Jivdani Devi Mandir Trust and Mahatme Health and Happiness Hospital.
In a conscious effort to increase Blood and Platelet Donation Awareness, a drive was conducted at the Rizvi Hotel Management and Catering Technology College, Bandra (W) on 28th January 2015. The drive touched the hearts of over 150 students, who came forward to donate blood and register themselves as platelet donors. A meaningful presentation on the importance of platelet donation was given by the team of doctors from Tata Memorial Hospital.
NDMCT initiated a Mega Health Camp which are an on-going initiative at Sonave which has enabled us to document what kind of health interventions are needed. Approximately 350 Men, Woman and Children have benefited through our Mega Medical Camps which includes General Health Checkups, Eye Checkup and Free Cataract Surgeries, ECG, Woman and Child Health, Breast Cancer Screening and Free Medicines.
